2/26/08: The reports for Maine and New Hampshire are BACK ONLINE as NOAA has finally attended to the local wavebuoys that were downed on January 1st! Thanks everyone for your patience, and thanks to NOAA for following through with their maintenance schedule.
1/22/07: After getting endless amounts of spam in the forums, and nearly 3,000 registered spammers, we decided to do away with the forums for good... in place, we've added a much simpler CHAT feature which we hope you'll enjoy! Check it out...
1/21/07: We're happy to let everyone know that the majority of the buoys and reports are back online. In particular, all of the reports South of Cape Cod are now functioning. Unfortunatley, we are still have problems with our buoys reporting for parts of Maine and NH. Hopefully those will be back soon too! 1/16/08: As I'm sure many of you have noticed, since the beginning of January a number or our reports- particularly the ones in Maine, New York, and New Jersey- have been displaying "Data Unavailable." This is because a number of the essential NOAA/NDBC buoys in these areas, from which we get our data, are currently malfunctioning. The NOAA does routinely service malfunctioning buoys, however they do not do so on a precise schedule. We expect that at least a portion of these buoys should be back on-line by the end of the month, however we can make no guarantees as the situation is out of our hands.
Thanks for everyones support so far, and we hope you will continue to check back with us! We are doing our best to get malfunctioning reports back up!
